Cleaning and Restoration Fee

Some Hosts may charge a Cleaning and Restoration Fee to cover the cost of preparing the space after a booking.

This fee helps Hosts return the space to its original condition and may include services such as professional cleaning, resetting fixtures or displays, restoring layout changes, and general post-booking maintenance. In many cases, Hosts may need to move furniture, shelving, or merchandise to accommodate a booking and then restore the space afterward.

The Cleaning and Restoration Fee is set by the Host and is clearly displayed before you confirm your booking.

What This Fee May Cover

Post-booking cleaning and sanitization
Resetting furniture, fixtures, or shelving
Restoring merchandise displays or layouts
Removal of temporary signage or installations
General preparation for normal business operations

Important Notes

  • • The Cleaning and Restoration Fee is not a security deposit
  • • It does not cover damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • • Fees may vary by space depending on size, setup, and booking type
  • • Any additional damage beyond normal use may be handled separately under the Host's house rules or security deposit

Transparency

All Cleaning and Restoration Fees are shown clearly during checkout so you can review the total cost before booking.
